Full-Time Large Animal Business Operations Manager

This role will manage the operations of the Large Animal team and customer support, within the team and across other departments. Initiate analytical tracking of KPI’s, the establishment of dashboards and reviewing sales versus inventory for measurement of trends and cycles. Manage trends related to seasonal needs by species as well as forecasting, coordinating with Operations to ensure customer excellence, coordinating with Purchasing to improving service level across the business. This includes growth initiatives, new process and capability introduction, and risk mitigation. Assist Sales Director with managing strategic planning project management across stakeholder departments including the Large Animal Sales Team and across adjacent sales zones and regions

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years’ experience in business analysis, project management; and requirement design experience.
Extensive amount of project management experience to know the ins and outs of managing high-profile projects and all the complications that might be involved
Proven sales or sales support experience with in-depth knowledge of products or services
Skilled team manager that engages every member of the team and manages conflict when it arises
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and efficiently to better provide value to their clients
Customer-service oriented with strong understanding of the principles behind creating an excellent experience for any clients
Strong business acumen, analytical skillset, and technical knowledge to succinctly align customer needs with the Covetrus value proposition
Proven ability to respectfully engage and provide specific direction to stakeholder’s multiple functional areas across the organization
Travel: 60%

Develop operational strategies that support accelerated scale and profitable growth
Enable timely, data-based decisions on operational improvement across the large animal sales team
Ensure customer excellence through collaboration across departments including Purchasing, Operations, Marketing, and Sales
Carefully monitor and analyze service levels to ensure a best in class customer experience through analytics and cross departmental collaboration
Organize and conduct requirement reviews with stakeholders and development teams
Provide project management leading programs and initiatives to develop an end-to-end program plan and drive stakeholder communication
Support Account Managers to maintain and construct reports to assist with supporting goal attainment down to the customer and item level
Collaborate with the marketing team to understand core elements of the product offering and combine that strategy with their channel needs, their key milestones and what it will take to meet financial and key performance goals
Manage team members who will deliver operational support for the Large Animal team while coordinating with Account Manager Stakeholders
Perform other duties as assigned
