Full-Time Death Claims Specialist

In terms of the Sanlam Group Governance Policy, SDM is managed by the SA Retail Mass cluster, which is part of the Sanlam Life and Savings cluster within the Sanlam Group. The cluster focusses on retail porducts, as well as group schemes.
What will you do?
Communicate accurately and efficiently to clients regarding enquiries and complaints (internal and external)
Handle and solve death claims enquiries efficiently:
Amend records with reference to the enquiries and death notification legislation
Issues ad hoc/duplicate tax certificates, pension statements, proof of income
Promote a positive relationship with internal and external client
What will make you successful in this role?
Qualifications And Knowledge
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with Mathematics and/or Accounting
Knowledge of Call Centre and Employee Benefits process, not less than two years’ experience
Previous Retirement Fund death claims experience advantageous
Knowledge of the Pensioner Services system and transactions will be an advantage

Grade 12 with 4 to 5 years related experience.
